Weekend Rentals
The weekend rates are valid from a Friday to Monday in all regions. A minimum 2 day rental, including a Saturday night overstay is required.
For weekend rentals we take a credit card authorisation of the estimated cost of the rental plus an additional weekend authorisation as follows:
- Inland Locations: R5 000
- Coastal Locations: R2 000
Renter must have a valid drivers license, valid credit card or hybrid cheque card, Avis does not accept Debit Cards.

Points earned will be awarded by Clicks ClubCard 60 days after close of rental, this is based on time and mileage only.
Airport Locations - The additional weekend authorisation will be waived upon presentation of a valid airline boarding pass. Excludes Kaiser Matanzima Airport. Read more here.
